📖 About Avishkar

The Avishkar Research Project Competition was initiated in 2006 by His Excellency, the Governor of Maharashtra, Shri S. M. Krishna. This unique activity is implemented through the Board of College and University Development (BCUD), Savitribai Phule Pune University.

The main objective is to encourage innovative thinking and research spirit among students from rural as well as urban areas. Special training and guidance is provided to participants for effective presentation of their research projects. Over the years, this activity has generated great enthusiasm, with increasing participation from colleges.

Savitribai Phule Pune University has consistently performed well, even winning the Overall Championship at Avishkar 2006 (Nagpur).
