 📌 Introduction

The Department of History was newly established in the academic year 2024–25 with the objective of providing quality education in History and developing historical awareness among students. The department is committed to nurturing critical thinking, research orientation, and understanding of India’s rich cultural and historical heritage.

🎯 Objectives

  • To create awareness about Indian and World History.

  • To encourage students for higher education and research in history.

  • To promote analytical thinking, heritage conservation, and cultural values.

  • To organize guest lectures, seminars, and study tours for practical exposure.

📚 Courses Offered

  • F.Y.B.A. (History) – as per Savitribai Phule Pune University syllabus

  • Higher-level courses will be introduced progressively in the coming years.

Objective – To commemorate August Kranti Din and spread awareness about the importance of sacrifice and service.
– To encourage students and staff to contribute through voluntary blood donation.
Description On the occasion of August Kranti Din, the Department of History organized a Blood Donation Camp in the college campus. The camp was inaugurated by the Principal and faculty members. Medical professionals supervised the blood collection with proper safety measures. Students, teaching and non-teaching staff actively participated.
