🎓 Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Earn and Learn Scheme

📖 Introduction

The Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Earn and Learn Scheme is an innovative student welfare initiative implemented by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune. The scheme is designed especially for economically weaker students who are keen to pursue higher education but face financial difficulties.

Our Arts, Commerce & Science College, Vadner Bhairav actively implements this scheme under the guidance of Prof. Adinath Rakibe (Scheme In-charge) to support needy and deserving students.

🎯 Objectives of the Scheme

  • To provide financial assistance to needy students.

  • To encourage students to continue higher education despite financial challenges.

  • To develop a sense of dignity of labour and self-reliance among students.

  • To inculcate values of discipline, responsibility, and time management.

🏫 Implementation at Our College

Students’ Responsibilities (Work Assigned)

Students selected under the scheme are assigned part-time work such as:

  • Library assistance

  • Laboratory assistance

  • Office and administrative work

  • Assisting in examination and admission processes

  • Campus cleanliness and development activities

Students are paid an honorarium as per University norms for the work they perform.
The scheme is monitored by a committee of teachers, and regular records are maintained.
