📑 NEP Cell (National Education Policy Cell)
🎯 Introduction
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 aims to transform higher education in India by focusing on holistic, multidisciplinary, and skill-based learning. In line with this policy, our college has established an NEP Cell to ensure effective implementation of NEP guidelines in teaching, curriculum, and student development.
🔹 Objectives of NEP Cell

To create awareness among teachers and students about NEP 2020.

To implement the guidelines of Savitribai Phule Pune University under NEP.

To redesign curriculum with a focus on multidisciplinary approach and skill enhancement.

To conduct seminars, workshops, and orientation programs for students and faculty.

To monitor Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) and Choice Based Credit System (CBCS).

To promote use of ICT, digital learning, and innovative teaching practices.
🔹 Functions of NEP Cell

Planning and execution of academic reforms as per NEP 2020.

Coordinating with Heads of Departments for effective syllabus implementation.

Collecting feedback from stakeholders (students, teachers, alumni, parents).

Encouraging value-based education, employability skills, and research orientation.

Submitting progress reports to the Principal and College Development Committee.
🔹 Composition of NEP Cell
The NEP Cell of the college consists of the Chairman, Heads of Arts, Commerce, and Science faculties, along with other nominated members. The cell works under the guidance of the Principal.
